Essential Oils - Cheat Sheet Tips & Tricks

There is so much to know about essential oils. But where to begin?

A little knowledge is enough to get you started - don’t feel like you have to know everything all at once. I’ve complied some basics plus a few extra tips I use personally to get you started.

A Few Essential Oil Benefits

Essential oils are powerful antioxidants, antibacterial, anti-cancerous, anti-fungal, anti-infectious, antimicrobial, anti-tumor, anti-parasitic, antiviral, and antiseptic.

They destroy bacteria and viruses while restoring the body. They detoxify cells and blood.

Essential oils that contain sesquiterpenes, which have the ability to pass over the blood-brain barrier enabling them to be effective in the treatment of Alzheimers, ALS, Parkinsons and Multiple Sclerosis.

Essential oils provide air purification when diffused and used aromatically, they clean particles and toxins from the air, increase atmospheric oxygen, increase ozone and negative ions to inhibit bacterial growth, destroy odors from mold, cigarettes, and animals.

Essential oils also promote emotional, physical, and spiritual healing because they have a bio-electrical frequency that is several times greater than the electrical frequency of fresh herbs, food, or even the human body.

Oils can quickly raise the vibration frequency of the human body, therefore restoring it to normal, healthy homeostasis. For ex: body 62-68mHz, cancer 42 mHz, fresh herbs 20-27 mHz, essential oils 52-320 mHz.

Tips & Tricks for Use

Much of this should be commonsense, but because they’re oils, sometimes people are less cautions. There is a right way to use essential oils - and often times it depends on the oil.

  • Always read the label for usage. You may need to dilute with a carrier oil. Store oils in a cool, dark place. Only use in dark glass bottles.

  • Blending is an art; typical blend recipe is 28-30 drops to ever ½ ounce carrier oil. Body massage blend recipe is 50 drops to every 4 oz carrier oil.

  • To use, apply directly, internally, drop into bathwater, diffuse, massage (allover or just feet, hands, or ears, or raindrop), perfume/cologne, cooking/baking.

This is only very basic information. I have so much knowledge to share! For more information about how to use essential oils, contact me.
